We are looking for a Managing Director to help our growing organization achieve its potential. We would start part-time, then move to full-time as we feel more comfortable with the person. We are looking for someone ASAP and they can be located anywhere.

Managing Director of the International Mentoring Network Organization (www.imno.org), a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Qualifications

• Some business background, extremely entrepreneurially minded, highly self-motivated
• High interest in driving big-idea, game-changing initiatives
• Interested in a long-term position with high-growth potential
• Some background in customer service and/or sales, able to persuade effectively
• Believes in the power of social connections, education, and impacting the world

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work closely with the IMNO co-founders and lead the Open Source Career Mentoring Movement
• Drive the strategy and create global plans for IMNO
• Build an advisory board
• Maintain and improve IMNO websites: www.imno.org and www.getintheirshoes.org
• Plan and execute self-sustaining plans for IMNO (which include the Get in Their Shoes Campaign)
• Run and improve the Get in Their Shoes campaign
• Schedule IMNO interviews and performing the interviews
• Find people to conduct IMNO interviews
• Edit and upload IMNO interviews
• Market IMNO and Get in Their Shoes
• Post on the GITS blog
• Secure sponsors for IMNO and GITS
• Service the Disney Give a Day, Get a Disney Day opportunities and anyone else contacting us for mentoring help
• Manage the pipeline of Mentor requests by our Mentors
• Distribute weekly IMNO Newsletters
• Manage the accounting, and help expand the organization
